howdy

I'm a 58 year old cowboy with a diverse and unique combination of business and agricultural skills.  I was exposed to the agricultural way of life as a child.  My dad worked at a Farm / Ranch Store in rural Texas Panhandle.  He also had a small place outside of town that was a joint venture between him and a friend.

I got my passion for agriculture and specifically animals during this time.  He and his friend were raising swine and I can remember playing "mid-wife" when they farrowed.  They also had a brood mare that they had "big plans" for.  That is where my interest for horses was peaked.  From that point on - horses became an obsession and passion.

I worked odd cowboy jobs around the area.  Then in a years time I attended West Texas State University now West Texas A&M and pursued my passion for horses and cattle with a degree plan in Animal Science with a minor emphasis in Equine Management.

My attitude towards training horses is simple.  "You'll never know everything there is to know about horses, but ALWAYS learn something from them!"

Being a father of three wonderful children along with my three grandson's and a granddaughter - Family and Faith are extremely important to me!
